Vallado Touriga Nacional Rosé 2019 - 91pts
"This refreshing, elegant rosé comes from Portugal’s hot Douro Valley, better known for its Port production. Aromas of fresh strawberries and a hint of stone fruit are followed by a strawberries-and-cream palate with lifts of cherry and lemon. With a mineral core and fresh, focused acidity, it shows great balance. Well made and very drinkable, with or without food."
Vallado Prima White 2019 - 91pts
"Consistently one of my favourite Douro whites. Made from Moscatel Galego Branco (France's Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains) with zesty aromas of lemon, limes and grapefruit citrus, plus peach notes. Some skin-contact before fermentation adds interest to the vibrant palate, which is citrus and mineral, but not austere thanks to lovely fruit ripeness. Super-fresh with focused and linear acidity. Food-friendly and great value for money."
