POENTE by Vallado | Where the Douro meets Porto
Housed in a historic building from the 18th century, fully restored in 2024, Poente by Vallado is spread over four floors with a privileged view over the Douro. The fitout project was designed by Architect Francisco Vieira de Campos, combining contemporary design with the unique identity of the building.

Selection of wines that reflect the strength of the Douro and the history of the Quinta. A unique portfolio of unquestionable quality, where tradition and innovation meet.

1st Floor
Wine Bar & Restaurant
Created by chef David Jesus, the menu blends creative signature cuisine with the flavors of the Douro, favouring local and seasonal ingredients. The dishes can be paired with wines from Quinta do Vallado — from classic labels to the most premium selections.
Tuesday to Saturday from 12:30 pm to 10:30 pm.
Sunday fom 12:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
2nd Floor
Tasting Room
Immersive tastings that tell the story of wine from vineyard to bottle, enhanced by a virtual reality experience filmed in the heart of Quinta do Vallado.

3rd Floor
Adelaide Room
An exclusive and intimate space with panoramic views over the Douro River, paying tribute to Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira. Available by reservation for private lunches or dinners.
Minimum of 6 people, maximum of 16. Reservations must be made at least 7 days in advance.
Tuesday to Saturday from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm and from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm.
